This is our second listing. We removed the previous, as it seemed to not be the ?right mix? for lenders. Our Group Leader suggested we make a few changes when I inquired about what we could do to make a more successful listing.

6 Months ago, we opened a credit line at a large hardware store to help my husband start a small plumbing business in his spare time. He is a licensed plumber, but the business cost us more money than it ever made us. Eventually, he went south to do some of the restoration work in Louisiana, and picked up a position in a union outfit. The job ended and he went to work in another Local (Lima, OH). 9 days after moving our household from Michigan to Ohio, our daughter, Sophia (3 yrs old), had her 3rd Febrile Seizure (Fever induced seizures) and was hospitalized. We began making calls to figure out which Local our insurance would be through. Frank had been working under what is called a white ticket in Louisiana, but was technically working under false pretenses in Lima. The Business Agent could no longer find work for him.

We had just signed a one-year lease on our apartment in Lima, bought a washer and dryer set on credit, we owed my parents money for helping us with the move and other things, a Doctor bill, and various other small bills. Through much stress, and a hundred phone calls we have gotten a handle on our future finally. Frank is now a member of Local 85, in Saginaw, MI. He is a 4th year apprentice pipefitter in addition to his status as a Journeyman Plumber.

We would like to borrow $5,000.00 to consolidate approximately half of our debts and be able to manage what we pray will be our last move, bringing our household back to Michigan. Some of these debts are interest free to us, but someone is paying interest on them. I feel it?s irresponsible for us to nickel and dime these debts when one payment would better serve our purpose, and those of our creditors.   Currently we are $8,500 dollars in debt, including family loans, credit cards and a bank loan. Our base net monthly income is $3040.00. We would be able to pay the majority of these debts off within the year on our own. Our main goal in getting this loan is to quickly pay off those family members who have been so kind to us. We are a Christian household determined to be good stewards of our money, after we pay our tithes it leaves us just enough to pay our bills. God has always provided when we?ve been in need, assuring that I have been able to be at home more with our precious Sophia. I believe this site, and the lenders here are another way God will provide for my family and me.

Mom T:             $1,400.00

Mr. W:              $1,000.00
Cost to Move:    $1,300.00 - $1,400.00

Thank you for your time and consideration in lending to us.
