Hello Everyone.  Thank you for considering my listing.

Last year we were deluged with heavy winter rains in Southern California.  Since, our home did not have any leaks, I just assumed that the roof over our heads was in satisfactory condition.  Recently, my neighbor completed his roof repairs and suggested that I get mine checked at the same time.  Apparently, my roof has sustained some damage - not anything that I would?ve noticed from the inside of the house, but another set of winter rains may actually exacerbate the problem and be more costly in the long run, if neglected.  As a preventative measure, I would like to get the roof repaired before the next round of Winter Rains hit. 

At the recommendation of a life-long friend, I'm turning to Prosper for an efficient short-term financing solution.   I would appreciate your consideration.   

I realize that even though I'm AA credit, I'd like to address the delinquencies (7 year del) showing in my Credit Report.  These were due to late payments that were reported on a student loan that was supposed to be deferred while I was enrolled in a post-graduate program.  I have since graduated, and as evidenced by my CR, I have been diligently paying my student loans (as well as all my other bills) in a timely fashion. My student loan payment also explains my high DTI. 

After years of education, I am now a Physical Therapist specializing in patients sustaining head injuries.  It is very rewarding.  With my income, I will be able to cover my monthly loan payment in a manageable fashion.    

As I consider this to be a short-term loan, this loan will be paid back sooner than the 3-year term.
