Eric's Credit Community

I am trying to help my boyfriend out. He is finishing his last semester of school and he had some trouble with his financial aid at school. He now owes $3500 in order to graduate. I am trying to help him out by helping him get a loan so he can start his career.

The loan
Due to Maryland minimum requirements, I am requesting $6001 of which only $3500 will be needed. The excess money will be used to pay back on the loan since it is not needed.

My credit
My credit score is actually higher than it appears on this site. I have a good clean credit history but my history is not very long. That is why the score is lower than it should be.

Budget
Right now my parents are paying for my car payment, my cell phone, and my insurance so I do not have any bills except my credit card which I make payments on regularly. I only have a limit of $500 so I can pay it off completely at almost any time. I am using it to help build my credit. In January I will be moving in with my boyfriend once he graduates and gets a full time job. At that time he will be bringing in $35-40k/year on top of my income and that will leave us with around $1000 free spending money when all is said and done so the loan will be paid back faster than expected.
