After serving 3 years in the Infantry and completing a tour in Iraq, I was Honorably Discharged from the Army in August 2003. Unfortunately, soon after returning home, I made some bad choices and found myself deep in debt. This intial debt has had a "domino effect" as far as my finances because I end up getting myself deeper in debt by taking out more loans or using credit cards just so I can payoff debt I have with other lenders. I know that this is not the answer to my problem and is only a temporary solution at best. That is why I am asking for this loan... I want to payoff all my smaller debts that I am struggling to keep track off and pay on time every time or that have a high APR and consolidate all of them into one payment to one lender. That will enable me to make my monthly payments on time and finally start the process of repairing the damage I have done to my credit and get it back to where it should.
