My partner and I are in the process of opening a small store.  The store will be focused on promoting relaxation, meditation, and personal well-being. We will carry various bath, yoga, massage, and aromatherapy products as well as incense, books, DVD?s, candles, and other supporting items.

This loan for $17,500 will be used to secure the space, buy fixtures, pay for various fees, and have operating expenses.  Other finances are already secured to buy inventory and various supplies.

Many people have asked us what will set our store apart from all the other ?bath? stores in the market.  Here are 4 of the main things that make our store unique:

1. We will have a focus on offering bulk products to the consumer including bath salts, bath beads, potpourri beads, etc.  The customer then has the ability to create an experience that is truly their own and it makes it more personal.
2. We will offer weekly seminars on massage, meditation, relaxation techniques, tips for better sleep, etc.  These will not only show customers how to use the products and generate sales, it will also stir word of mouth.
3. Many items can be customized such as aromatherapy oils, bath oils, and massage oils.  We will assist customers who would like to create their own scent and then use that scent in other products.
4. We will have many ideas on display for baby showers, wedding showers, wedding favors, etc.  We can provide all the supplies to the customer or we can take orders and prepare it for them.

We believe that these concepts in addition to good old fashioned customer service and a personable experience will truly contribute to loyal customers and a long-term success.  The location of the store will be in an area that has above average income and it will be a perfect fit to the demographics as well.

We are both 100% devoted to making this business a success.  While I will leave my job to run the store full time, he will continue with his current employment which will provide us with a consistent source of income.  We formed our own corporation a little over a year ago and have been working on this concept ever since.
