I am 23yrs old and just graduated from BRIARCLIFFE COLLEGE in Bethpage NY. I have a AA degree in Telecommunications and Networking. I currently work Full-time at Solectron Corp. / Verizon Wireless as a Repair Technician. Currently I am still living at home due to outrageous credit card bills (like most college students) and would like more than anything to pay them off and end my financial struggle with high interest rates. My debt isn't dragging me into the poor house or anything I am just tired of paying high interest rates when I don't have to. I would love to finally move out of my mother's house and move into my own apartment. I feel that once I start getting my card balances low something happens to bring them up again. For example my car will break down, I will get a flat tire, gifts for Christmas or birthdays, the beginning of a semester where I find myself handing over my Discover card to purchase books for school and to pay my tuition. It?s a vicious cycle that I am determined to break. So pretty much Prosper.com is my last resort in defeating my credit card debt and assisting me in taking the next steps into adulthood.
