Eric's Credit Community

Hello,
My name is Brian and I am looking for some help in getting my life back together. I am a full time student with a full time job. In life you make some mistakes and when you get older you learn how important those mistakes were. At the ripe age of 30 I have realized that there are greener pastures on the other side.


Now let me try to discribe my present situation. I go to school full time online at Univ. of Phoenix. I am a Finance Major and this year I am a Junior with a GPA of 3.0. Now I know that may seem odd considering my present credit score but I am a HR due to my past. I also work full time at T.G.I.F. I am a Bartender and I make around $500 a week. I have been working at TGIF for over a year now and don't plan on a job change any time soon. I work hard just like the next person to get by in life. Here is a break down on what I make and how my money is spent.


Monthly Income:
$2200.00


Rent: $ 600.00
Phone: $ 50.00
Student Loan: $ 40.00
Utilities: $ 300.00 (due to high summer light bills)
Food: $160.00
Gas: $60.00
Credit Card: $ 80.00


Total: $ 1290.00

Every 3 months I pay an extra 500.00 towards my school books. About 2 months ago I pulled my credit report and my total debt was around 2400.00. Now I know it may seem that I have more than enough money left over to pay this off but I don't when those unexpected bills come knocking on my door. I really could use a break. I make all my other monthly payments on time and would make no exception with this loan. If I were to get this loan and get my stuff paid off I would love to come back to Prosper as a Lender and help others out. I know how it is to struggle and I would love to return the favor and help anyone else with that second chance.
