Hi... I'm a new-comer to Prosper, and I'm just a simple guy that had a couple of large purchases come upon him all at once... In the past few months I've had to make the following purchases all within a short time frame: Minor Surgery New Computer Purchase Paid off some Graduate School loans Frequent trips (flights) back to my hometown for some family emergencies I'd really just like to get this little bit of credit washed out, so that I can have a little breathing room for the holidays. I certainly don't mind paying my credit cards off a little at a time since my available credit / spending limits are quite high; but why do so when I can get a better rate? (My current credit card rate for purchases is around 12 or 13.) I'm a single, professional (MBA-educated) with ample liquid savings.
