After 7 years of graduate school and 3 years as a post doc at UCLA - I finally have landed a faculty position at Cal State Long Beach where I teach biochemistry and do cancer and stem cell research.  My excellent credit rating, faculty job, and income has allowed me to buy my first condo.  Now that I have a very good income (and a AA credit rating as you can see!), I want to pay off my credit card debt I have run up in graduate school.  I am able to pay much more than the minimun payment each month - but I am tired of watching the high interest rate go to the credit card companies.  I also like the idea that my group gives part of the proceeds to a charity we decide to support.

As an Assistant Professor, I make over $6,000/ month and can easily afford this loan payment.  As you can see, my debt ratio is also low.  This loan will allow me to get this debt paid off in 3 years or less (I plan to pay it off with my summer grant salary), save money, and have the profits go to individuals, instead of VISA.  Thank you for your help!
