I am the Scoutmaster
for our Boy Scout Troop. We plan a High Adventure trip for the boys every other
year. Two years ago we went to the Double-H Boy Scout High Adventure Base
(http://www.scouting.org/philmont/doubleh/index.html) in New Mexico for a week
of backpacking. I hope you enjoy the pictures! Now we're planning on going to the Northern Tier High Adventure Base (http://www.ntier.org/) in northern Minnesota for another once-in-a-lifetime experience for the boys. Being a Scoutmaster I strive to live by the Scout Oath & Law every day and teach my boys by example. You will be helping the boys to have an unparalleled opportunity to visit one of the last unspoiled areas of wilderness in this great country of ours. Time is running out and the funds have been tight and that's where you can help! I'm asking for your help to get my son & I on this trip. I will be one of two adults from our Troop on the trip. By Boy Scout standards we must have two or we do not go. I have the time to spare but not the funds. Our troop really appreciates your support and so do I. Thanks so much for your consideration. |
