My tale is a very american story, the corporation I work at cut its
dental insurance coverage to a bare bones operation, $1000 was covered,
when a basic cleaning is about $500, need a root canal.... well most of
that will need to come out of your pocket, a crown....don't even think
about it and I need a "deep cleaning" after that. Of course all this needs to be done while taking time off
work, etc. You know the drill, sadly many of us do. Don't get me
started on the medical..sigh. So here is my plan Mr & Mrs America, part of the loan goes to that oral surgeon and dentist, some goes to clear out all my credit cards but the rest goes to... SAVINGS... why because when, not if, I quit my job at the place I have worked for almost 6 years (five and a half good years) I can go get my Hazwoper Certification (which is one month of unpaid schooling and training) which pays more, is an expanding field and will hopefully get a nice job in a local hospital with wonderful benefits. I already have the extra savings account open with HSBC at 5.05% interest, all I need is the funds to sock away so that if something goes wrong (which it always seems to) I have a net to catch me. Thank you for your consideration!!! |
