Hi My name is Diane; I live in Seattle, and am delighted to join this community. I have a BA in Psychology from University of California at Irvine, and Masters in Psychology from San Jose State University. Not only was I the first woman, but also the first person in my family to attend a university, only one to ever graduate, and growing up in a low-income family, all of my university funding came from student loans and part-time work. I graduated with honors, and am very grateful for my education. Since graduation, I have been working hard on building my career, while paying off student loans. I really need to clear away the remaining portion of my financial aid, $1000, and improve my credit score. My passion is babies; as founder of a children?s organization, I provide resources, education, advocacy re child health and safety. In order to access more funding for my work, I need to upgrade my credit rating asap. You would be instrumental in helping in my continuing mission to save babies from preventable injuries and disease, by assisting me in this small loan. For me, it?s imperative to pay my bills on time; I fully intend to repay this loan within 12 mos, and to establish myself as reliable on Prosper. Currently I have no credit cards, have cleared out all my credit card debt, and adhere to a very strict budget. The only debt I have left to payoff is this school loan; I would much rather pay interest directly to people who really care about other people, and who are also working at improving their lives and the community.
