Eric's Credit Community

I'm a 42 year old mother of two. I'm married but that is one of my problems. I need this help to clear up some credit problems I've had and to help me start a new life. I'm in the military have been for 23 years. I just sewed on E-7 that is a significant pay raise for me. I want a divorce and determined to get one as soon as I get it together and my youngest child graduates from high school. I've been married my whole adult life and it's not a happy or good situation. I need to move on. As I mentioned I just sewed on E-7 so I have at least two more years in the military maybe more and if I could get this loan I know I could pay it off in 3 years.

What I need to do to get me moving toward my goal of not only financial freedom but personal freedom is this loan. I want to request $10,000 to be paid back in 3 years. Yes!I have blemishes on my credit report but I want you to know I've worked extremely hard to change that. I've been working on my credit for over 5 years and it seems the harder I work on it the more I have to work on it. Being in the military good credit is a must. I'm still waiting to here if I get to keep my security clearance (bad credit) but I'm working it. Whether I get to keep it or not I'm still going to continue to work on removing the blemishes against me and improving my credit.

I've been working with Lexington Law Firm for over a year to help me clear up my credit. It has improved a lot. But what I've been doing is if there was anything on my credit report that's negative I just make arrangements and pay it off in hopes it would help.

Loans: $7620 (now that is two loans together) if I could consolidate that alone with everything else I could make one payment a month it would truly make my life much easier.

DPP (military credit card): $4488.


Granted the two items listed above together is more than the amount I'm requesting if I could just get the requested amount funded I'll be able to make one payment instead of 3or 4 payments and also this will free me up to take care of the issues I'm having with my consumer credit file. Also I have fallen in the payday loan scheme and would like to get out of that bind. My husband has a job but does not always choose to work. He is quite aware of the financial bind this puts on me but really don't care.  I need help and I'm determined to get it and get out of this situation. I don't know if every thing on my credit report is authentic and that's half the problem so I'm just trying to pay everything off and hopefully clear it up and increase my credit score.  I've been the sole bread winner for my family since the day I said I DO and it's just one of the things were now it's time to stop living my life for everyone else and start living it for me and pursuing my dreams. Rent: $1100
Car Payment: $361.00 (only one remaining payment)
Electric: $89.63 (average)
Phone: $125.00 (maximum)
Food: $350 (average)
Car insurance: $260 (monthly) (two cars)
Water & Sewage: $76 ( average)
Cable: $112
Child Expenses: $300. (And that's not a lot for a 17 yr old) but I do get help from his brother.
Other: $280 ( gas for car, uniform upkeep, etc?)


As you are anyone else can see I don't have a lot of expenses it's just once you get behind in life it's hard to catch up without a little bit of help. I want to get caught up and I want to be able to answer my phone without worrying if it's  a bill collector. I want to be able to hold my head up high and not feel shame.
