I am an Aerospace Engineer; I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering in May of 2005. I have been working for Lockheed-Martin Commercial Space Systems since then, doing mission analysis, orbit analysis and software engineering for satellite systems as they are designed and launched. Another way to put it is that I'm a rocket scientist. I hold a Department of Defense security clearance, which involved a government background check. I have been interested in consolidating my credit card debt that I built up in college since before I graduated. The continued increase in rates and fees makes it all but impossible to get anywhere in paying them down. I hope to get a loan to pay them off and get an interest rate that isn't insane. I have a beautiful wife Amanda, and a wonderful baby girl named Arian born this June. Amanda also attended UIUC and graduated in May 2004. I hope to get my debt cleared off soon so I can ensure a sound financial future for my brilliant little girl. I notice that the loan amount here increases my debt to income ratio into the twenties, but I will use the entire loan to pay off credit cards, so my ratio will remain constant, and it was 17% as I filled out my info. |
