Thank you for looking at my listing. I'm relisting this request with a higher interest rate. My credit is an E mainly because of high balances on 3 credit cards (totalling approximately $5,000) and a discharged bankrupcy 3 years ago. I have been rebuilding my credit, and have no doubt that it will get better. We have two children that were diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and one of them had to be in intensive care for several days incurring in astronomical medical bills. Bankrupcy was our only option at the time.

I have been a Minister of Worship and Music for over 20 years, 5 years at my current congregation. Several months ago  I went to school and got my Realtor license. I've sold four houses so far and I'm looking forward to many more. Expenses from this new business were charged to my cards and that's the reason of my high balances. I guess it is true that it takes money to make money.

My wife (a piano instructor) is considering getting her license to become a mortgage broker so then we can work together and advertise our business as a unit. I also want to get my GRI designation (Graduate from Realtor Institute) and expand my market area.

My salary per month before taxes is $4,600 from church and $600 from English/Spanish tutoring. My wife makes $1,700 from piano students and for playing at church. Any real estate transaction is on top of that.

Our monthly expenses are: Car - $400, Credit Cards - $300, Rent $1,400, Car insurance $150, Cable  - Internet - phone, $130, Utilities $200, food, $550.

I appreciate your consideration for this loan. I hope in the near future I'll be able to become a Prosper lender myself!
