I am a 53 year old single woman who is trying to get out from under these medical bills; currently I am undergoing major dental work which is going to be very expensive. I am in the process off paying of medical bills from a recent surgery and trying to help my youngest son through his last year of college. I have been using a couple of credit cards to pay these bills and I want to pay these cards off. I have used Prosper before (one loan paid off, one current) and have never been late on a payment. Prosper, just like my rent is the first bill that gets paid. I thank all the wonderful lenders and appreciate their goodwill. I have been part of a Group since I joined Prosper 3 years ago and you will see that I have had 2 loans; one paid in full (always on time) and one in the process of being paid off. Unfortunately my Group Leader did not respond to my 2 Loan Requests and so I withdrew from the Group , not knowing I cannot join another group while I still have a loan; Hence I am "going solo" so to speak. You will notice that my credit grade has gone down one level since my last loan; I am not sure why as I have not been late on ANY payments and pay more than the current amount due; I am looking into fixing my credit report as I believe some of my debts are still linked with my ex-husbands.
