Hi everyone! I am a married male in my 30's with a beautiful wife, 2 wonderful kids, a golden labrador retriever and a chubby Chihuahua. We have recently moved to a new home and are currently looking to finish the basement so our 2 kids have more room to play around. Below, is a description of our finances which shows that we are in very strong financial shape: Income-- (Pre-tax) Full time Job- $100,000 per year (all base salary), investment director for a large consulting firm Secondary Jobs- $20,000+ per year (variable), teach part time online at a couple of major universities. This is a conservative figure and will likely be between $30,000-$40,000 Expenses-- (monthly) Car payments (for both wife and myself)-- $300 Car insurance (both of us through USAA)-- $100 Internet/Cable/Phone-- $200 Gas/Electric-- $300 Credit Cards-- $400 Misc. (food, health insurance, train, etc.)-- $700 (health insurance + transit are pre-tax) Current house payment-- $2500 One other prosper loan (we have paid this on time every month since it was established about 1.5 years ago)-- $600 Thanks for your consideration and please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.
