Listing Information
Amount: $12,500.00 Status: Expired
Grade: AA DTI: 57%
Lender Rate: 17% Borrower: p2ploan-dreams
Time Left: Finished State: CT
Funded: 34% Group: (No Group)
Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to…get a better interest rate, but more importantly to get away from paying minimum monthly payments that never seem to reduce our credit card debt. I plan to pay our Sears card off with this loan. I have two other major outstanding debt sources: a Visa card at 14% interest rate and a credit union loan at a lower interest rate, which makes up the high DTI rate. My husband and I got into this mess due mostly to the expenses incurred in fertility treatments. I was successful in that regard (finally!) and will give birth in the next few weeks. We are attempting to get our finances in order so that we can afford our new baby. While friends and relatives have been generous, we will incur many expenses involved in child care and support. I will return to work almost immediately to keep my income coming in.

My financial situation: Both my husband and I work outside the home. While I cannot count my husband’s income officially in this listing, he actually makes more than I do.
My net monthly income is roughly $3,200
Our major debt amounts look like this:
Sears: $12,000 balance, $375-$450/month 22% Interest Rate
Credit Union: $18000 loan ,$450/month
Visa: $12,000 balance, $280/month 14% Interest Rate.
Monthly expenses:
Mortgage: $1,800/month
Both cars are paid for
Auto Insurance $150
Gasoline: $400
Food: $400
Entertainment: $200
Utilities: $170
I am/we are absolutely committed to paying off this loan and our other debts. We have made some progress, but with mostly paying the minimum payments it is slow going. This loan will help tremendously!

I am an excellent candidate for this loan because I have a nearly flawless record of repayment resulting in an AA credit rating. My one delinquency that resulted in a public record was a $300 hospital bill that was used to file a lien against our house. We have since paid that bill. Both my husband and I have stable employment and together we gross over $125,000 annually.
