Purpose of loan: (explain what you will be using this loan for) I will invest this money in prosper lending. I currently have nearly 1300 loans made. Given the current economic conditions, there will be more good people turned away by the banks, or forced into the credit card and payday loan traps. I entend to continue to selectively loan on prosper, and will utilize a minimum of $6K of this loan for that purpose. At least a part of the remainder may be used as a "bridge" to year end bonus time, for Christmas and perhaps a little vacation trip. My financial situation: (explain why you are a good candidate for paying back this loan) I have owned my own business since 1990 in an engineering field that I had 15 years of experience in prior to starting my own shop. We keep our salaries low for monthly cash flow purposes, make it up with year end bonuses. Because those bonuses vary greatly with the success achieved through the course of the year, I did not include that portion of my income below. I have no vehicle, telephone, internet or insurance expenses, as these are picked up by the company. There is considerable equity in the company, and I have several personal investments: stocks, roth ira, substantial 401K, and of course my prosper loans. As you may see below, I live well within my means. Monthly net income: $ $2,000 plus expenses Monthly expenses: $ 1,400 Housing: $ 650 Insurance: $ 0 Car expenses: $ 0 Utilities: $ 150 Phone, cable, internet: $ 0 Food, entertainment: $ 200 Clothing, household expenses $ 100 Credit cards and other loans: $ 0 Other expenses: $ 200 Please review my prior (first) loan for my payment history. Although I could pay this loan off at any time, I promise to let it run a minimum of 6 months to attract lenders. I will definitely set up automatic payments to prosper.
