Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to consolidate existing debt. I live with my girlfriend and we plan to be married in two years, but want to pay off our outstanding debt first. Weddings are expensive, and we don't want to pile on more debt in the process. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because this loan will be used for debt consolidation. I have some credit card debt from paying for my last semester of graduate school, as well as a 401K loan I took out to purchase a vehicle. I will pay off those, and this loan will help me pay off the debt faster and at a lower rate. My overall revolving debt is low and will be zero after this loan. I can handle the payment, and do not pose a default risk. I have been a on Prosper for a couple of years as a lender and borrower. I took a small loan out to find out about Prosper, and paid the loan off after a few months. I plan on holding this loan at least two years. Budget Income 3,600 Mortgage (2,000) Bills (500) Food, Ent (600) Prosper Loan (335) Numbers don't include my girlfriend helping out with the mortgage and bills. She provides $500 - $1,000 monthly on top of the amounts noted in my budget. I withdrew a previous listing because the amount, $15,000, was more than I needed.
