Purpose of loan: My wife and I are putting our home on the market, because we have a 21 month old child and need a larger place, and we badly need to make a few repairs on the home before we list it, in order to get full value for it. My financial situation: My wife and I are putting our house on the market and need to make several repairs to it (leaky roof, back yard, deck, remodel bathrooms etc....) before we list it, so that we can get full value for it. My financial situation:I am a good candidate for this loan because I have an excellent credit history. I've had credit for over 20 years now and have NEVER missed a payment in my life and my credit report will show that. Plus we will make a lot of money on our home, once we make these repairs. We purchased the townhouse in 2000 for $96,000 and it's current market value is $250,000. We had it appraised recently and the appraiser appraised it at $175,000 because of all the repairs that it needs. He said that if we sold it as is we would be making a huge mistake and losing money. He recommended us putting about $10,000 into sprucing it up, and that would translate into us being able to get full market value or close to it. |
