Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to… consolidate revolving loans into 1 fixed loan My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because… I’m 37 years old and have never missed a payment on any bills that I have had or currently do have. 2 years ago I bought a franchise called Meal Makers; I borrowed money personally to buy this franchise. About a year into it, the business was struggling so I did 2 things; I went back to work in the financial industry which is what my background has been for the last 17 years, scoring a good job with a 6 figure income. Second I sold Meal Makers to the person who had started the franchise. I was paid 20% of purchase price at time of sale and would receive a monthly payment over the next 2 years and then a final balloon payment at the end. Four months into the payment schedule the individual and his company stoped making payments. Long story short this individual ended up closing down the franchise and filing bankruptcy, leaving the bulk of the note he owed me unpaid. I have been fortunate that I have a good job and have been able to pay my payments every month on time. I would like to consolidate some of my higher interest loans into 1 loan with Prosper.
