My Story:
I want to thank all lenders for taking the time to review my situation and to make a bid. I am a single father with two children. My daughter just entered her freshman year of college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My son just entered the eighth grade. I am college educated from The Ohio State University and have an MBA from the University of Phoenix. I'm currently working as a computer programmer for KeyBank in Cleveland, OH.

I'm requesting this loan to help with some of my daughter's first-year college expenses. Additionally, I want to pay off 2-3 high rate credit cards and fund my advertising budget for my home based business. I have just recently become an independent travel agent for TraVerus Travel to obtain some additional income.

My Credit Grade:
Although I have a low credit score, it does not reflect my whole story. I have not had any delinquent accounts in over ten years. My low credit grade is due to a bankruptcy I filed back in 2003, which has since been discharged. This was necessary due to a divorce. Prior to the filing I had “A” credit. Since then, all of my accounts have been current, however I have high balances, which are close to their limits.

My Budget:
I currently have several sources of income. I make $70k/yr from my main job, $250/month from my home-based business, and I receive $1500/month from my family for mortgage expenses. I’m also currently looking for a part-time second job to supplement my income. My current income grosses me about $4300 a month. My monthly expenses are about $3600, which leaves me about $700 a month of expendable cash that can be applied to a new loan.

Please consider funding this request.

Sincerely,

Proud Parent
