Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to fund other prosper loans at a slightly higher interest rate that the rate at which I borrow. It will also provide a very secure loan for borrowers who are new to Prosper and want to get their feet wet. This is the second loan I will have with Prosper. The first was in November 2007 and I've been in the black with it since then. My financial situation: I have excellent credit, several sources of income and I am small time real estate investor. The latter is relevant because I will go to great lengths to protect my credit, as borrowing power is critical to being a successful real estate investor. As a borrower, this means making the payments on time, every time, as I do all of my bills.
