Purpose of loan: Bridge capital for expanding two recently launched divisions of my award-winning company, Ecofutures Building: 1. Net-Zero Energy and Green Consultancy 2. Commercial Energy Retrofits With 15 years in business, we are at the forefront of the industry in creating future-proofed, net-zero energy homes. Imagine a home with energy bills next to nothing, now and forever! For about 8% more in building costs, that's what we are designing and building. (Please see www.ecofuturesbuilding.com ) Our work has been featured in the New York Times and more than 20 other publications, and on HGTV, Discovery Science Channel, and local TV and radio stations. Our breakthrough achievements have all been realized without standard capitalization: I grew Ecofutures at 40% per year for 12 years, with no debt, and in 2005 we made our move into carbon neutral housing. While we have many great residential projects in the pipeline, the timing of projects starting this summer has been off by a few months -- thus the need for bridge resources. Energized by our influence on the industry and policymakers to date, I am determined to have a broader impact by becoming officially available to advise architects, builders, developers, and building officials (as we have been doing pro bono for 3 years), through the new consultancy, and also dramatically reduce energy usage in many more thousands of square feet of buildings by pursuing commercial retrofits for carbon neutrality. Within several weeks of announcing our new commercial division, we are already working on four buildings to increase efficiency and provide on site renewables. My financial situation: I am preparing to raise operating and growth capital on a much larger scale. Our pioneering successes have positioned us extremely well, and my credibility and industry reputation are excellent. My income is about $200,000 per year; FICO ~720 and DTI ~26%. We have some $8m of projects in the pipeline. With our company doing between $3,000,000 and $4,000,000 of business per year (not counting the new divisions), I am very well capable of paying back this loan. Thank you for your consideration. Be part of a precedent-setting team! |
