Purpose of loan: I have a genuine emergency. I am the only child of a wonderful mother who is suffering from Alzheimer's. She is now in a wheelchair and has a feeding tube. All of her life when she was able, my mother has helped other people and I have done the same. Now we are in desperate need. Mom had a small home- the house in which I grew up and from which I hated to move her, but after her illness and especially after her stroke she couldn't live in a house with stairs. We had rented the house and that modest, but consistent, income helped cover her growing medical bills. Her renter now has not paid for the past three months and despite promises to bring in the money each week, he has not done so. Her property taxes are now due this month and this summer, I contracted to buy a new wheelchair with monthly payments that I was able to make until her tenant stopped paying. Some of her medicines now have a $100 co-pay , she broke the tooth underneath her front crown and her dental bills are not covered by insurance. My father died twenty-five years ago and in the twelve years of my mother's illness, this is the toughest financial challenge we have faced. My mother still has an amazingly resilient spirit and she is fighting to be here with me. Please help me as I care for and honor her. You will make a difference in the lives of so many- beyond the two of us.  I am blessed with work that makes it possible to repay your generosity, and I will do so faithfully.  The money is desperately needed now. Thank you.

My financial situation: I will be able to pay this back because of my work and 401K which I will be able to access at a later date.
