Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to seed a start up executive search firm. I am an experienced recruiter with an established book of business in the senior housing and skilled nursing industries. I am ready to go out on my own and need capital to support the business for three months until cash comes in. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have excellent credit and I am continuing in the same professional vertical that I am currently working in. For 2008, the division I am leading has billed over 500k in revenue and these relationships will come with me when I go out on my own. I have a business plan to share if you need further information. Objectives 1. To penetrate the direct hire share of the senior housing and long term care markets. Within the next twelve months it is the objective of the company to expand current relationships with the top ten long term care providers in the United States. This will grow to fifteen in the second year and twenty in the third year. 2. To substantially increase profitability. We will encourage companies to use our firm for their direct hire needs by providing niche experience and a vast network of senior care industry relationships. This will allow for high-end service at lower cost to our clients. This pricing will insure a minimum of $200,000 pre-tax profits during the first year. 3. To improve the administrative and financial machinery of the operation. This will allow a reduction in the owners involvement in simple administrative tasks from 50% of his time to 20%, thereby allowing him more time for sales and marketing tasks. 4. To establish, by year two, a territory model supported by 15 account executives that will effectively cover the United States enabling our recruiters to effectively source passive candidates and build solid client relationships. The Recruiter needs to feel that his company considers that recruiter the most important person in the world. Any action that might indicate that the company might be busy with other tasks, such as failing to return phone calls promptly, must be avoided. 4. The company must be true to its word. Searches must be executed exactly according to plan. Candidate specifications must be identified according to client expectations. |
