Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to help update 5 past due accounts 1- Closed cell phone bill with AT&T (daughter ran up the bill, my fault for trusting a teenager) 2- Medical bill from a Dental visit I forgot about for myself and the girls 3- An older cell phone bill the ex wife had under me that I thought she paid off but it's under my name so it's my responsibility. 4- Closed Blockbuster account on 3 overdue movies that we had to end up keeping because it went beyond 30 days with them. 5- Medical bill from an emergency room visit for the little one, I believe my credit report says 7 deliquent accounts but I have paid off 2 of them. Cortrust Bank and Applied Bank. I paid those off, closed them and have the receipts and statements of paid in full as of 9/5/2008 My financial situation: My financial situation is alot brighter since last year. When I got the first loan, I was amazed, grateful and felt blessed. I went right to work to get rid of the things that were the proverbial "monkey on my back". Unfortunately I lost my job of 13 years right after i got the loan. That is cool cause i rebounded, work a lower paying job to put food on the table while still looking for a better way. Never was my Prosper loan late or in default. Every 15th the money was there for the investors. I have been rewarded with a better job to take care of the lovely ladies in my pic. Ain't they cute? Any father thinks that of his kids. Now I would have preferred to combine the other loan within this one and settle on one payment but I do understand that the "HR" rating suggest I try a lower amount because I'm deemed risky. That is fine because i do understand that there has been some people that don't pay their bills. I have and will continue to do so. Please I hope not everyone is scared off by the "HR" rating. It doesn't define me and I have tried to define myself by paying my bills and making sure to live within my means. I don't overspend or waste money. I pay the Prosper loan happily cause I was so fortunate to get it March of '07 and i never will let those people down. Rent- $625 Utilities- $90 Car note- $250 Phone Bill- $100 Car insurance- $85 Girls school expenses- $150 Grocery shopping- $200 Gas- $180 Miscellaneous- $300 Credit cards-$150 Prosper loan-$199.05 (Current, never late, never an issue) Total- $2329.05 Monthly income- $4250 The Prosper loan I got last year has done nothing but help improve my credit score. Unfortunately, a period of unemployment set me back but now I have a better job. I know that this loan is only possible with the generous help of people willing to take a chance on individuals with less than perfect credit. Life is great as you can see in the pics with my daughters. I enjoy them and they love me as family should. I provide dearly for them and they are happy stable kids. I say this to say, I'm a very responsible person even though past credit issue may or may not dictate that. Understand though we all made or make mistakes. No one is perfect and we all should strive to do better. That is where I'm at. I strive to do better now than the guy that was in his 20's or Early 30's. That all being said. Thanks, good day, best of luck in life to all and God bless. |
