Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to help me move my family to my current duty station. This is an unexpected expense for us, as I mistakenly thought the military would pay for their move. Because we were married after I reported here to Yokosuka, Japan, we must cover the expenses ourselves. These expenses include planes tickets for my wife and our 2 children, along with the movement of household goods.

My financial situation:
I am a good candidate for this loan because because I am active duty military carrying a security clearance, which can be lost in the event of poor financial planning.  I currently bring home $3,500 a month, and the only monthly bill I have here is a $75.00 cable bill. Once my family arrives, we will be living in governement quarters (I already am), so there will be no major changes in bills. As things stand currently, I am paying all of their expenses in the States. Once they are here, their living expenses will be much cheaper thanks to the priveledges such as the commissary, which will lower food cost, and living on base here in Japan does not require a vehicle- meaning a break from gas prices. I also currently have a little over $1,500 loaned out in Prosper loans, feel free to verify using one of the lending stats sites. Monthly payments will be made on this loan via an automatic allotment.

The 2 delinquencies that are shown are from payday loans that I had several years before joining the military, and have since been paid. The drop in my credit rating is due to the prior Prosper loan I had just starting to report on my credit, which is actually paid off with 0 lates. I expect my score will return to normal as soon as Prosper reports that loan paid. The 2 inquires are from (1) my prior Prosper loan and (2) an upgrade on my credit card.

I currently have 28 months left on station here in Japan. I am due to reenlist with a significant bonus sometime within the next 6 months. I can not say for sure at this time if this loan will be completely paid off with my bonus or not.

Thank you for your consideration.
