Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off a high interest credit card debt. I made the decision to use my last year bonus and my credit card to help a friend and her family thru some medical difficulties earlier this year...(She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer ealier this year at 33yrs old...) Her situation is complicated (no family history and a rather rare form of non-smokers cancer). It required trips to specialist in several states to try to identify the source. I've donated my frequent flyer miles, my hotel points, my bonus $$ and paid for other related expenses for her to be able to see the right doctors and specialist. You may ask why did I do this... Why have I put myself in this situation. Well, I did so because she was there for me when I lost my parents 4 years ago within a year of each other... One from diabetes complication and the other to a stroke...This was my way of being there for her. She continues her treatments today and we pray everyday that she will live long enough to see her girls grow up. The picture I'm using is of our favorite vacation place. This is the first year we did not go but I'm confident and hopeful that we will be able to return next year when she beats her cancer. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan for the following reasons:
