Purpose of loan: I am getting married the first part of October.  My friends have decided, since I am the last one to fall, the bachelor party needs to happen in Vegas.  The loan is to ensure a good time is had by all.

My financial situation: I am a civil servant employee of the State of California. Despite all of the news, I am still getting paid my salary. I have almost 10 years in various positions (appointed and civil service).  I am now in management and also receive a VA disability allowance, so my income has gone up since my first Prosper loan. I have lived in the same place for almost 9 years, so I am in a very stable position.
