Purpose of loan: Pay for schooling for my son. He was recently accepted to a Music and Arts Academy on the mainland due to the fact that he is a dedicated and talented piano player. However, since he was accepted so close to the beginning of the school year, almost all of the available financial aid had been allocated. Between what they did award him and what I have been able to scrape together we are very close, but a little over 6K short. Please help me with this investment of my son's future. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I am responsible and have never made a late payment. I have the funds to make monthly payments. I did have a medical bankruptsy over 7 years ago because I was a teenage mom with no insurance and my son was hospitalized for a week. That is the ONLY blemish on my credit, which is now making it so difficult for me to get a loan for the funds I need. I now own my own company and I am the Principal Broker. We do Real Estate Sales, Vacation Rentals, Long Term Rentals, and property management. The income I listed below is our minimum monthly income, so it does not include real estate commissions since the housing market is down and I don't want to count on that.
