Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to finance both finished inventory (I use wholesale sources) and raw materials for hand embellished items, which I need for a small shop. This shop has a low monthly lease (250) as it is in a huge local indoor swap meet. The shop will sell items for locals ( and tourists) who use "green" products such as local grown honey, herbs, locally found and polished rocks, teas, incense, sage for healing, handmade candles, jewelry, books, Celtic and Norse music, small statues and the like. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have an MBA, a business plan, many years in marketing and revenue management. I have researched wholesale vendors, leases, local and interest in the products. I also have both a published and internet marketing strategy.In addition I am a revenue Manager for a billion dollar business and am attuned to revenue and marketing trends and rev man scientific pricing. I also have a masters in IS and a PhD in IS and am using a proprietary inventory control system. The start of this small venture will be used as a springboard to a brick and mortar store in the near future. I have already invested in several thousand dollars of my own capital in inventory. |
