Hello, My name is Leisa and My husband is Lavillie. I have been trying to think of some things to tell you about us so I thought that I would start from the beginning. My husband and I have been working since about the age of 15. We met in 2001 and It was really love at first sight. I had medical issues before we met and we talked about the possibility that they could return and that did not scare him away. I worked for the State of Michigan making $35, 000 and he worked for Bosch making $65,000, so we both were doing well. In July of 2002 after working for Bosch for 5 years, he lost his job do to foreign trade (Germany). A few weeks later, I lost my mother and shortly after that, my tumors returned. My husband quickly found work but for half the pay. He held me up during the many days and nights of mourning for my mother. I was the major bread winner during these times.
Later on that year, my doctors told me that I need to make a decision to have a baby because my prognosis was not looking well. We made a decision to go for it we were pregnant in 2003. I was taken off work in my 6th month due to early labor. In spite of the high risk to my life and my baby, he arrived here without a scratch. I was not able to return to work because I was having complications after the baby.  I was also not able to take care of my baby. My husband never complained once and took care of me and our new born baby. I cry as I write this because we were 30 and 31 at the time and that was a huge responsibility. I eventually went back to work but my health gradually deteriorated so I had two more surgeries before being referred to the University of Michigan Medical Center.  Finally, in May of 2005 my husband was back to were he wanted to be and landed his dream job as a Senior Data Storage Engineer but there was one thing-it was in Texas . We lived in Michigan. He commuted from state to state. I was facing a major surgery in October of 2005 so his employer graciously allowed him to work from home until we were able to relocate. I had my surgery and was in the hospital for 8 days due to complications. My husband was by my side and once I was home, he took care of me and my horrific wound 24 hours a day. I know that a lot of men and women would have thrown in the towel because it takes a special person to take care of another person and my husband is one of those " special people". He is a proud person and has taken care of his family to the best of his ability but he needs some help.
I tell you all this not for sympathy, but so that you can understand how we can to this point of need. He took care of us with all that he had at the time. He is making $85,000 yearly now but we still have medical bills, credit cards and a high interest auto that we need to pay off.  I have provided pictures so you can see that my husband did what a lot of people would not do. He gave to us unconditionally and I hope that you would help us in that same manner. We are in a much better financial position and will pay this loan on time each and every month. Please find it in your heart to help us.
