Purpose of loan: This loan will be to consolidate the remaining balance on two credit cards which are $16,400. We just did a new room addition to our home which the costs ran more than expected unfortunately so we had to use credit card to pay off the contractors balance. This is my 2nd prosper loan and as always I would rather pay the prosper community lenders my interest money than credit card companies. I have been at my job over 11 years and not going anywhere. I'm an honest hard working family man that you can trust. My financial situation: My financial situation is very strong. Excellent credit and low DTI. Monthly net income: $4,810 Salary: $4,010 Side business: $800 *side business is my internet services business that I've ran for over 10 years providing website design, hosting, and software sales. I do it part time to help out small businesses and non for profit organizations such as boy scouts, small churches, and small communities. Current monthly expenses: $3,577 Mortgage: $1,282 Insurance: $ 180 Electricity: $ 105 Water (home): $ 25 Gas (home): $ 87 Phone, cable, internet: $ 160 Car payment: $ 358 Food, entertainment: $ 800 Current prosper loan: $ 130 Credit cards and other loans: $ 450 (balance is $16,400 @ combined rate of 15%) Net difference: $1,233 - before the new prosper loan $1,133 - after the new prosper loan *estimated This prosper loan payment will be roughly $550 per month and will replace the $450 per month credit card balance. The extra $100 for the higher monthly payment will not provide any financial hardship and will allow me to continue the auto pay program and easily have it paid off in the 3 year term.
