Purpose of loan: Consolidate some high interest loans, buy some new furniture, do some auto repair on the older car (which is paid for), and some buffer money in savings for emergencies. Income: Net $4342.00 Total Expenses/mo prior to Prosper loan: $2651.00 Expenses AFTER Prosper loan: $1931.00 Same except: Paying off 3 High interest local credit companies (all above 60% APR and a $750.00 balance with Pioneer Military Lending @ 26% APR) Prosper Loan: Approx $250.00/mo Total Mo. Expenses including Prosper Loan: $2181.00 Current Living Expenses, CC/Loans I pay for: Rent: $ 650.00 Utilities: $ 75.00 Car Pymt: $ 436.00 Harley Pymt: $310.00 All Ins: $ 210.00 Phone (Cell/Home/Internet): $ 150.00 Dish Network $ 100.00 No CC debt. (Only use Debit Card) Reserves: 401K/TSP-Approx 10,000 in TSP, 5% of my salary (before net income) goes in every two weeks. This is my second loan with Prosper. I repaid the first $5450.00 loan in 19 months (17 months early) which shows that we are responsible, ethical and a proven borrowers. This loan is to consolidate some high interest loans taken while my wife was job hunting after graduation. She went back to finish college after the kids were gone and got her degree in Computer Info Systems at the tender age of 49. She finally landed a position in October of last year. Her salary covers the food, her car payment, and her student loans. We have a herd of grandkids and another on the way in February. A little extra money to buy some new furniture, do some repairs on the older car (which is paid for), and some buffer money in savings for emergencies. I retired from the Army as Chief of MP Investigations at Fort Sill, OK in 1995 and am a 50% Disabled Vet. I work for the Army Hospital at Ft. Sill, OK as a GS-08 in Civil Service investigating child and spouse abuse cases for Social Work Services. I want to consolidate my debt into one lower payment. I receive salary, Army retirement, and VA Disability. The delinquency listed in my credit report is ATT wireless. I have submitted a dispute to have this removed; as it was paid and I have a current ATT wireless account in good standing (they would not let me have an account if I still had a delinquent amount. The car payment may go away soon as I have my 93 Avalanche for sale, if sold will drive the older car (96 Grand Prix). The amount requested would pay off the loans being consolidated, allow money for the furniture/auto repair/savings, and leave only the Prosper loan to be added to the above expenses, which would be less than a third of the present payments that I am consolidating. Please Support Our Troops and God Bless America! Almost made it last listing, with your help this one will! Thanks for looking and feel free to ask ANY questions! |
