This listing is for my 18 y.o. son. He will be making payments to me, but no matter what you will get paid!

The problems on my credit report were from some medical bills that were mismanaged and have not been able to be erased yet. If anyone in the future has a discrepancy on their report, I wish them great luck with trying to clear things up!

The rest of the app is from my son....

Purpose of loan:

I will use this loan to purchase myself a new "used" car.  I desperately NEED a car because I live in the great rural heartland of America, public transportation is not available. I need to use my car to commute from school, work, and back. I am a good student with above a 3.0 GPA and I also play basketball on my schools varsity team.

My financial situation:

I think that I am deserving of a loan because I have worked myself for everything I've got. I worked very hard this summer to earn $1500 to start looking for a car, but in order to get one without major problems or repairs, I have found out that you need more! I would get a traditional loan, but my parents are in the process of divorce so they can't cosign a traditional loan for me.   I have never been late, and I am very conservative with my credit card.

I also already have $1500 in my savings account that could be used as a little security for the loan!

Monthly net income:

Currently
$1,056 (32 HOURS X $8.25/hr  4 weeks a month... MANAGER at McDonald's-Great Job Security)

After Oct. 1st - Will be upgraded to 'Certified Manager'
$1,152 (32 Hours X $9.00/hr  4 weeks a month)

Monthly expenses: $
   Car expenses: $205
                           -  $125 (Insurance)
                           -  $80 (Gas)

   Food, entertainment: $ 240
  Clothing, household expenses $ 50
Credit cards and other loans: $ 30

Total Expenses: $525

Total Left Over: $742

I try to stick to this budget as much as possible. Being a student most of the normal categories don't apply to me. The bulk of the costs are to food and entertainment and over 80% is entertainment that is completely voluntary and not necessary if I would get in a pinch.

My brother is also a Prosper user and has been paying his bill on-time. He is the one who gave me this idea!
I would be very grateful to anyone that would be able to help me out!  Thanks in advanced.
