Why am I here: While experiencing an illness, my work schedule went to part-time (sometimes no time). This put considerable strain on our ability to make payments on mortgage, cars, insurance, co-pays ($35 - $100 a visit), medications ($25-$70), utililities, credit cards, furniture bills, etc. The priority became keeping the utilities running & the mortgage. Working fulltime again, our difficulty is digging out of the hole that we're in. Summary: Request: $6,500.00 Interest Rate: 29% Payment: $273.00 Purpose: Mortgage-$1826 Pay medical bills - $1100 Furniture-$3500 (monthly payment $277) Budget: Yearly Income: Borrower - $56,000 Husband - $48,000 Side annual income - $4500 Monthly Net Take-home: $5,600.00 Current Expenses: Mortgage $1500 Utililites $800 Car 1 $611 Car 2 $435 Visa $50 @ 13%, $1200 bal. Line of credit $75 @ 17%, $2000 Furniture bill $277 Auto ins. $155 Orthodontist $119 IRS $150 Food/Gas/etc $400 After-school care $160 Savings $150 Delinquent payments- extra $550 for mort. payment argmt. Expenses v Remaining: $5432/$168 Expenses w/ Prosper Loan: Mortgage $1500 Utililites $800 Car 1 $611 Car 2 $435 Visa $150 @ 13% Line of credit $175 @ 17% Prosper $273 Orthodontist $119 Auto Ins. $155 IRS $150 Food/Gas $400 After-school care $160 Savings $250 Expenses v Remaining: $5178/$422 Other Items of Note: The student loans are in deferment until Nov 07 because I'm currently in school @ AIU. By the time these payments are due, the car loan for $435 will be 3 months shy of being totally paid off. Also, I have not included the credit card payoffs in my Prosper loan because the interest rates on these items are much lower now & I am able to pay them once I get everything else caught up.. I have included an extra $200 in payments to credit cards each month which will pay the balance down considerably in a year (not including income tax refund which will go towards debt as well). My credit report also lists public records which are explained as follows: When I purchased my first home in Feb 01, the IRS placed a lien on it in Apr 01 for an unpaid state tax bill of $646. The bill was paid completely off in June 01. Prior to that, as a teenager, I co-signed on a car for a boyfriend which was eventually repossessed. Since I was the one with the stable job, the creditor sued me for the balance.. This was paid in full by June 2000. http://dove676.wikispaces.com/ Thanks for your consideration, Dove676 |
