Purpose of loan: I'm sick of paying my hard earned money towards interest that lines the pockets of billionaires! I had such a wonderful experience with my first prosper loan that I have decided to cancel my Mastercard and use this wonderful lending tool for all of my future borrowing needs. I would much rather have my interest payments be spread out amongst generous prosper lenders than to pay them to some faceless, heartless corporate behemoth. My financial situation: No bankruptcies, charge-offs, foreclosures, or re-possessions and I have never defaulted on a loan. Steady employment in the ever expanding railroad industry. The late payment that shows up for prosper was when I switched bank accounts and my payment went in one day late. I know how to live within my means, so this small monthly payment is very manageable for me.
