First of all, thank you for taking time to read this and consider my loan. Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to consolidate my current prosper loan, my car loan, and one other personal loan giving me one payment. My financial situation: I have always been diligent at paying my bills on time. I don't like to use credit and I'm working towards a debt free 3 year plan. However, my wife recently went through a battle with cancer (successfully winning!), but it put a strain on our finances while she and I were off work. Additionally, my oldest daughter (we have two) graduated and moved on to college this past year! She won a scholarship for the major part of her fees, but there are additional fees that we pay monthly on. Monthly net income: $5500 My wife and I both work full-time and have stable government jobs we have been at for 11+ years. We have both been back to work for well over a year since the cancer. My wife is healthy, feeling good, and I believe will stay that way! Monthly expenses: $4644 Housing: $1352 (own my home) Car: $447 (to be paid with Prosper, balance is $7041 at 18%) Insurance: $365 Orthodontist: $86 Utilities: $325 Phone & Internet: $125 College Fees: $490 Food & Staples: $500 Auto Gas: $450 Personal Loan: $350 (to be paid with Prosper Loan, balance is ) Credit Cards $250 In closing: With a Prosper Loan I can combine all my debt into one manageable monthly payment. It will fit better in my budget and allow me to expedite my 3-year plan to pay off my debt and have at least a 3 month reserve for emergencies.
