The purpose of this loan is for some simple home improvements (carpet, windows, paint, etc.,).  I currently own a small home which I owe approximately $22,000 on the mortgage.  The home is worth approximately $48,000. I am currently bidding on larger homes and plan to sell this one as rental property after I move out.   I plan to use the extra equity of my current home to pay down on a larger one.  Also getting married in October and may use part of the loan for honeymoon expenses.  My first loan with prosper was for $2000 in Aug. of 2007 ( I now owe $1170 after one year) and I currently have $900 in loans I have given prosper members.
