Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to purchase an 2 unit duplex. Purchase price is $48K, I'm using $12,000 from prosper and the remainder from my savings. My financial situation: I always pay my bills on time and this is not my first investment property. I've purchased 6 properties over the past 3 years and my husband and I have made money on all of them, we retain some as rentals and others we try to sell. The plan for this property is to hold for 5-10 years as a rental, both units have 3 bedrooms and will bring in $800 a piece. This is a great cash flow property, and my financial situation is solid. This loan will be repaid. Unfortunately I can not prove my income the way Prosper requires. I'm a real estate agent, so I receive a 1099 instead of a W2 at the end of the year, which Prosper will not accept. Thank you for your consideration.
