I am requesting a 2nd Prosper loan of $9,700 to pay for a large outstanding medical debt. I want to take care of this debt before it goes to Collections on all 3 major credit bureau reports and negatively affects my credit.

The debt is from 2001 for an overnight hospital stay due to reconstructive jaw surgery. After years of trying to work with my health insurance company their final determination is that the hospital stay was elective and therefore not covered. All other medical bills related to the reconstructive jaw surgery have been paid in full.

My B credit grade is because of my 87% credit card utilization. I accumulated too much debt too quickly by misusing credit cards as quick-fix emergency funds to pay the yearly propane bill, tax bill, etc.

I used my 1st Prosper loan to pay off my Bank of America credit card in full, close the account, and cut up the card for good. My DTI was originally 78% and is currently 48%.

Net Monthly Income:                $2,335.00

Monthly Expenses:
Electricity $75
Car Insurance $65
Car Loan $525
Cell Phone $60
Capital One Credit Card $100
Credit Union Loan $15
DirecTV $35
Fuel $175
Grocery/Household $200
Health Insurance  $100
Mortgage $645
Phone (cell) $60
Phone (land line) $15
Prosper Loan $215

My retirement-disability annuity pay is direct-deposited into my checking account monthly so repayment via automatic withdrawal will not be a problem.

Thank you!
