Purpose of loan: 3 Insurance appeals denied, 3 Medical Loans denied and 1 Prosper funded only to 24%-Please help me-this is my only alternative-I will not default. My financial situation: I have been struggling with Sleep Apnea for most of my life-I only get about 2 hours of Sleep per night-according to the 2 sleep studies I have had. I stop breathing 47 times an hour. I have very small facial features -please see photo above-my jaw never fully developed and it is pushed too far back. CPAP masks do not fit me properly and they do not make a childs size. I wake up and cannot turn my head to the left-after using the CPAP machine. I then have to get injections in order to relax the neck spams which cause the inability to turn my head-I have even been through Physical Therapy-which made the neck issue worse. My airway is very small and is getting smaller as I age. I currently have surgical braces on my teeth which I have paid $8,000 already for in preparation for upper and lower jaw surgery. By moving my jaw forward this will open my airway and cure my Sleep Apnea and also help with swallowing food. I have some money saved. The total procedure will cost $15,000 -hospital will be an additional $6,000 plus anesthesia. I am short $10,000. I will be out of work for approximately 6 weeks I am offered short term disability through my employer which covers 100% of my wages for 12 weeks. My employer will keep me on payroll and they get reimbursed through Metlife. I have a CD that I can get to at any time that has a little over $5,000. The lates on my credit are from a BK I filed after going through a divorce-I was left with all the marital debts and my income did not support everything I was left with. I have worked very hard to re-establish credit and my FICO reflects this. Please note that the lates state $0 due. This will remain in my credit profile until 2012. |
