Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to? Pay off 3 key debts and get prepared to be debt free in 6 years. Here is my plan: Step 1: Get the loan from Prosper, pay off the following debts: $8000 Nissan Motor Credit ($800/month) $4000 Dell Credit (160/month) $2900 Kohls Credit (80/month) Step 2: Use the extra $500 per month to pay off this ridiculous chase mastercard credit card, $26,500 ($950/month, 29.5% interest rate) <== I can't believe I got into this situation, but I am determined to get out of it. It will take about 3 years. Step 3: After paying off the chase card, I will be about 40% out of debt. I can then use the extra $1500/mo to pay off my remaining credit cards in about 3 years. 6 years and debt free! It will be the first time to be debt free in 20 years, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because? I have never defaulted or been late on any loan payments. I have had enough of making the credit card companies rich. I have fallen for every good idea for a new credit card or lower rate and made every mistake possible. I have a steady, secure income and receive annual bonuses (not factored into this plan).
