Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to pay off super high interest temporary loans that are breaking me, incurred last year with extra educational expenses and medical bills.  (I have a 3.95 GPA, but I'm not so smart sometimes when it comes to financial matters...I'm working on that!)  I am currently having to give up one whole paycheck to just pay the interest on these loans, and would much rather go through a reputable lender and pay good people than another predatory high interest company.  I am working hard to resolve my debts and improve my credit score, but with the temporary loans, I can barely live paycheck to paycheck, and desperately need to pay off these monster loans so that I can get things straightened out.

My financial situation:
I have a very secure job -- classified staff at a state university - I've been here 2 1/2 years, and will be employed full time while finishing my degree part for the foreseeable future. I was at my previous job (also a state university) 5 years.  I also do extra freelance graphics/photography production work, plus I'm a professional artist (that's my painting in the window of a local gallery in the picture!) and my income to debt ratio is very good when I'm not being taken for $800 a month in interest.  My credit has been ruined by a bad marriage and divorce, and the relocation here two years ago.  It's been hard to get on my feet with a single income in a new place, and since temporary loans were my only option, it's left me unable to get ahead.  I'm happy to pay any reasonable interest rate and will have no problem making payments.  I am house manager for a house of older students, and so my rent and living expenses are very low.   I have not included the high interest loan payments in the expenses below -- with those gone, all my other expenses I can take care of, plus start saving a little.
