Thank you for considering my loan. Purpose of the loan is to replace furnace/heat pump that is beyond repair and pay down credit card debt. I am current on all my accounts, but there just isn't anything left at the end of the month with all the interest going out. I will be starting a second part-time job in the next two weeks as well. I have been teaching for 30 years. I love what I do, and I know I have an impact on the lives of the students I teach. I was able to work a 2/3 teaching schedule when my 2 children were younger, but after 17 years of marriage, I found myself going through an unwanted divorce. I initially got into debt when my spousal support ended and there was no full-time job at my school. I worked up to four part-time jobs, in addition to teaching, for a couple years before being able to secure a full-time position. I had planned to start paying off the debt then, but I ended up adding to the debt trying to help a close friend who was desperate and had no one else to turn to. I also helped my daughter's boyfriend after he was in a very serious car accident. Both of my friends are slowly recovering and will begin repaying me by the end of this year. I hope this explains why the credit card debt is so high. I am a good candidate for this loan because I have been teaching for the same school district for 30 years, lived in the same house for 20 years, and I know the importance of paying off the debts one incurs. I have no delinquent accounts, I don't miss payments, and I've always paid back my debts.
