Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to purchase a laptop, printer, backup solution, and protective gear with a mind towards high-performance necesary for engineering simulations and multitasking. This purchase has been put off the past 2 years due to computer lab availability on campus, however recent dramatic budget cuts have resulted in, at best, more limited hours on available computers, less maintenance, and more restrictive software programs. This places me in the dangerous position of my grades depending on something that I cannot control, which this loan will allow me to rectify. Thanks to my current employment status as a computer sales professional, I will have no trouble repaying this loan over it's full, 3-year term. My current college GPA is a 3.95 on a 4.0 scale. I'm a junior undergraduate student, and I'm biting the bullet on this loan to ensure as many variables are removed from the equation as possible such that I maintain or improve that GPA. I work hard in school and in life, and I've never had a problem seeing an obligation through to the end. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I currently live at home and therefore have practically no monthly expenses. I currently have a better than 50% savings rate with my net income, and should therefore have no trouble repaying this loan. Due to increased cost of attendance government funding is already exhausted, thus I turn to a private loan. My DTI is listed as Not Calculated due to the fact that I have not been employed in my current position long enough yet to have a valid W2 form to submit. The breakdown below is accurate for my typical monthly expenses, however. My current performance is rated highly by management personnel, and I will retain this job through the school term. I invite all of you to ask any questions of me as you see fit. Monthly net income: $ 700.00 Monthly expenses: $ 180.00 Housing: $ 0.00 Insurance: $ 0.00 Car expenses: $ 120.00 Utilities: $ 0.00 Phone, cable, internet: $ 0.00 Food, entertainment: $ 20.00 Clothing, household expenses $ 0.00 Credit cards and other loans: $ 40.00 Other expenses: $ 0.00 Net available: $ 520.00 |
