Purpose of loan: We are within a few thousand of bringing ourselves from the brink of losing everything, and we are now needing to consolidate the little bit that is left to get ourselves completely caught up. Our goal is to consolidate this final bit, pay it off, and be free and clear from debt from here forward. We have 2 children and we would like to be able to really enjoy our time with them while the are still young (both under 5 yrs... that's My husband and my daughter at the aquarium last year) instead of stressing about this last little bit of debt. We would like to pay ahead on this loan as often as possible with bonuses, etc; besides the monthly payments. My financial situation: I am a good candidate because I am absolutely determined. We had excellent credit before my husband suffered a union lay off. He was laid off nearly 4 years ago- and it absolutely destroyed our finances. We have been re-building ever since (and he is in a new non-union position within the same Company) and we are now so close to being well ahead of even where we were at that time. I cannot communicate how absolutely driven we are and have been over the last few years- and the end finally appears to be in sight- but we need to consolidate this final little amount or we just won't make it. It will all be for not as we may have file chapter 7 because we cannot settle these last 2 accounts- for a measly 8000... which just seems so stupid after all of the hard work. Our lender would be an absolute blessing for helping us see our hard work pay off!
