My husband and I need to get back on track. Once upon a time I had excellent credit and then life happened. When my husband and I first got married I decided to clean up his not so great credit by paying off some items that went into collections. I went through my savings and then bam, I got laid off my job. To supplement my unemployment I was taking credit card cash advances, not realizing I was jacking up the interest rate and evenyually maxed the cards out. A very expensive lesson. Finally 5 months later a previous employer offered me a job. At the same time I found out I was pregnant. So I worked 8 months and had to take another 3 off. This past summer my husband was laid off and was out of work for 6 months before he found a job. Now we both have stable jobs but are still finding it hard to keep our heads above water. To help us even more we are moving in with my parents to cut our expenses. This is the last part of the equation. If you would be kind enough to lend us the money we could consolidate our debt and hopefully pay less than the 20-30% interest we are paying now and be able to feel like we are getting somewhere. Then we could finally try and move forward with our lives. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!
